Lyuesword has been producing Japanese swords for over 10 years! The sword is fully handmade using traditional Japanese craftsmanship methods. It is hand-forged, hand-polished, and hand-sharpened by experienced smiths. Ideal for practice in sword arts, cutting competitions, and collecting.

Blade (Nagasa): This blade is entirely handmade by professional smiths, forged, polished, and sharpened in the traditional Japanese way. Made of 1095 high carbon steel with a Maru structure. The Kissaki shape is Chu-kissaki. Bo-hi (blood groove) on each side lightens and balances the blade for optimal performance. Full tang construction enhances the sword's strength, capable of cutting bamboo and slicing paper.

Tsuba (Guard): The iron tsuba is secured by two Seppas spacers, with a brass Habaki (blade collar).

Tsuka (Handle): Covered in white ray skin with a real black silk Tsuka Ito wrap. The Fuchi and Kashira on the tsuka are alloy, with matching Menuki ornaments. Two Mekugi pegs secure the tang, allowing for disassembly.

Saya (Sheath): Hardwood sheath with a high-gloss lacquer finish. Sage-O tied around the Kurikaka, hardened Koiguchi, and Kojiri.

Notice: The sword comes assembled with the saya and a free silk bag. Box and stand not included. Each sword undergoes professional inspection before shipping, packaged securely in a foam box for protection during transit.

BLADE MATERIAL: 1095 High Carbon Steel, hand-forged, full tang, manually finished for high hardness and elasticity, meeting combat requirements.

PERFORMANCE: Hand-polished sharp blades suitable for real cutting, Tameshigiri (e.g., tatami, bamboo, trees, A4 paper). The full-length tang enhances sword strength, with a smooth, bright surface capable of cutting through bamboo with ease.

TSUKA: Genuine ray skin cover with traditional black silk wrap for a comfortable grip. Two Mekugi pegs for stability.

PURPOSE: Suitable for Japanese Iaido practice, self-defense, outdoor activities, and cutting bamboo and twigs. A stylish addition to home decor. Includes a sword bag.
