The border of the WaterHog Fashion mat is made of the same 100 percent polypropylene fiber system as the mat surface. It is certified slip-resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute and contains 20 percent recycled rubber content. The premium anti-static Polypropylene fiber system dries quickly and is resistant to fading or rotting.

When the mat is wet, the rubber reinforced surface allows water to be wicked away from foot traffic and towards the bottom of the mat, providing a slip-resistant surface. The Polypropylene fiber system also dries quickly and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Additionally, the mat is colorfast, thanks to its solution-dyed construction, ensuring excellent light and wet fastness.

The unique ridged construction effectively stores dirt and moisture beneath shoe level, while the green-friendly rubber backing with 20 percent recycled content is available in smooth or cleated types. However, it should not be used in areas exposed to animal fats or petroleum products, such as kitchens.

The WaterHog mat efficiently stops dirt at the door by effectively scraping dirt and moisture from shoes and trapping it beneath shoe level, preventing tracking. The water dam border holds moisture, keeping it off your floors. In fact, these mats can hold up to 1.5 gallons of water per square yard.

Furthermore, the mat is fade and stain resistant, thanks to its solution-dyed PET fabric. Additionally, this fabric is made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic from drink bottles. The SBR rubber backing of the mat contains 20 percent recycled rubber from car tires.
